BiOGRAPHY
Your videographer will be me, LuAnn Parks.  I have had a 20+ year career as a court reporter in both the official and freelance capacities.  I opened Legal Video Productions of Mississippi in 2004 to take advantage of the trend towards electronic documentation of expert and time-sensitive testimony to be used in our electronically-updated courtrooms in and around the state of Mississippi.  I have had experience in reporting and videotaping asbestosis/mesothelioma cases, welding fume litigation, tobacco litigation, as well as other typical legal categories.  I am willing to travel; just give me enough head notice to pack my bag and my camera!

As a certified court reporter with many years of experience doing depositions and courtroom testimony, I am able to recognize and anticipate events during depositions.  I am well aware of working in conjunction with the court reporter to make an accurate and concise videotape, synced with the transcript.  In doing so, I have a short list of preferred court reporters I work with frequently who are ready and willing to be hired for reporting and transcript preparation if you so desire.  We work together professionally and congenially.  I would be happy to recommend one of my preferred reporters to you at any time.

EQUIPMENT

I use a Panasonic three-chip digital video camera with four Lavalier microphones, all connected to a Shure sound mixer for superb clarity and balance.  I can use a lighting kit, a professional backdrop, and audio tape backup if needed.   It's customary to time-sync with the court reporter's transcript. In doing this, I can provide the written transcript along side the video deposition in a split screen, if so desired.  Such DVD is an extra and needs to be specifically ordered.  Otherwise, you will receive a standard bust shot of the deponent.  No panning around the room will be conducted unless desired.   If you need anything out of the ordinary, please don't hestitate to ask.
RATES

My hourly rates are competitive and turnaround time is less than ten business days in most cases.  I have a standard two-hour minimum.  If for some reason there is a deponent/attorney no-show or deposition cancellation after I have arrived and begun setup, then this two-hour minimum rate will apply.

All invoices are due and payable upon receipt.  Therefore, the master and final copy DVD's will be mailed C.O.D. unless other arrangements are discussed prior to setting up the depositions.  Travel expenses (hotel, airfare, etc.) may be added if they so arise.   Federal standard mileage rates will apply outside a 30-mile radius of Hattiesburg.

MOTTO

My company is based on the belief that my customers' needs are of the utmost importance because I understand you are there to represent your client in the best possible way.  The team I put together for your particular deposition will be committed to meeting all of your professional needs and will provide the expertise you desire for that day as you represent your client. As a result of this committment to those who hire me for their videotaped depositions, I have enjoyed a high percentage of my business being from repeat customers and referrals.

I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the legal videography industry.
